Brianna was so welcoming and shocked when I told her I wanted part of my hair shaved off! She is a huge joy to be around and is super kind. She is very detailed with her work and always makes sure her client is happy with what she suggests. I really suggest you request her if you want a short hair style with your own twist. I think that Mariam is an excellent hair dresser. She is always kind and. amazing. She puts her heart into her work. She always knows what I like. I recommend her as a hair stylist. I have been going to her for years.

Just got eyelash lift and tint for the first time, absolutly LOVE my lashes!! I was scared to try it at first but I’m so happy the girls at tappa convinced me to try it. I’m so pleased with the results, my eyes pop out more than ever! I would recommend this service for anyone looking to pop their eyes a little bit with no commitment, it’s very low maintenance and just stunning! So I went there to do Keratin Treatment with a haircut , so she did the awful haircut I've ever see it on my life , it was terrible and my hair looks so bad till now , the sides unequal and missed , I feel she is not a hairdresser or something , for the treatment she put a small small amount of the treatment on my hair , I thought maybe it's just like that then she wash my hair… etc the whole process then I didn't get what I want , my hair still curly and nothing changed at all , even after the three days without washing it , so thanks alot for everything but I'm never return to this salon ever :)

Hi I have been going to Tappa for so many years now it really tells my age. Amy can give my coarse, thick hair such a fabulous short cut that as it grows I can change my hair style. Yes, I have grey hair hair but we streak it with a dark steel grey and people stop me to tell me they love my hair. I refer them to Amy at Tappa. They are the best in Ottawa.

Well, after many years of looking, I have finally found the one. Meanwhile, I kept going to Montreal to see my hairdresser that I had since I was a teenager. Remember, the Farrah Fawcett hairdo? lol! Mariam is a wonderful person and an amazing hairdresser with a beautiful smile. Lots of patience and she provides good advice. At the same time, she listens to what you have to say and together we come to an agreement. Mariam is an artist and makes me feel good whenever I leave the salon. Thank you Mariam! Also, kudos to Tappa Hair Salon. You feel welcomed as soon you step in the salon. Great products too!

I went in with my husband when he went to get his hair cut. I loved the way Mariam was cutting his hair and I wondered what she would do with mine so I asked her....she asked what I would like and I told her that I wanted to know what she would do....told her a little about myself and she told me what she would see for me and oddly enough, it was something I had wanted for quite some time....I wanted my hair quite short. She happened to be free so I asked her to do it right then and there. I was happy with it from the start and I have had many compliments from my family who say that it fits my face and is young looking. They really like it. So if you want something new, ask Mariam. Even if you want the same thing, she is really good at cutting hair and doing it to fit your face.

Amazing! You can tell she is verry passionate and it was amazing having her work on my hair!
